Wood is naturally germ resistant and by using only baby safe, water-based ecological solvent free lacquers on the surfaces of their wooden toys, HABA does not diminish this safety. Multiple lacquer layers render the surface of the toy extremely resistant to humidity, saliva and wear and tear, allowing it to be taken from hand to mouth at any time.
